With tea tree, burdock root, and plantain, plus an armful of other goodies from nature – nine organic, many gathered here on the property – we like think of it as “nature’s balm”. The scent is herbaceous, as you’d expect, reminiscent of a springtime meadow.
We use this herbal salve on our son’s eczema, abrasions, burns, chapped skin, those split-fingers from low humidity, bruises, even flyaway winter hair. A must-have when sick with a cold or the flu; apply product liberally on end of nose and above upper lip to avoid a red, chapped nose that tells the world: “I’m sick.” Our customers know that we call this our mini-traveling-medicine cabinet.
This product is the bees’ knees. Depending on the beeswax that is available from our part of the county, the salve might have a faint smokiness to it that is never acrid, just pleasantly real.
Some of our most-faithful customers include medical personnel, fabric crafters, and those who work in publishing/or are librarians (seems that paper is very drying).
